Ghirmi Hittli fireplace

The Ghirmi-Hittli is located on the Altzellerberg, directly on the Eggiligrat-Grafenort hiking trail, on Alp Schwand. The former cable car hut with garage no longer fulfills its purpose as a cable car, as the cable and the cable car were dismantled in 2021. The unused building is now the "Ghirmi-Hittli", a nice place for hikers and bikers to take a break and stop for refreshments. The Ghirmi-Hüttli has a table with a corner bench and seating/picnic facilities at the Schärmä or in the shade, as well as a large bench with a table and a barbecue area on the southern wall of the hut with a view of the entire Engelberg Valley.
