Gallery Maurizio
Description
Renato Maurizio has been drawing for a good 50 years, but almost nobody knew it until now. An exhibition in Maloja is now bringing to light what was previously stored in a drawer: pastel drawings of many mountains and trees that Maurizio brings home from hikes, using only black and white oil pastels, an ink pen and drawing paper. Renato Maurizio is currently showing around a third of his total of around 500 drawings in his gallery. As his collection of works is large, he has also cut up a number of mountain drawings and assembled the individual parts into mountain collages.
