Cultural archive Among many other things, we show our visitors: objects and writings from private collections, naturalisations, illustrative material from the excavations on Petrushügel and the village of Cresta. Uniforms and weapons from Napoleonic times, which are still worn today at the Corpus Christi procession in Cazis. School, club and community flags, records of the witch trials of the Heinzenberg judicial community. 19th century account books. Brochures on the history and fate of Cazis and the region. Studies of the field names of Cazis. History of interned Polish soldiers during the Second World War, etc.
6,000 photographs of Cazis and the region can be considered the highlight of the cultural archive.
Specialised library of ornithology, history, religion and art.
Exhibitions: at least once a year we organise a special exhibition on a specific theme.
Power-Point presentations & lectures: for groups of 8 to 25 people.
Opening Hours
Every last Saturday of the month from 1.30 to 5.00 pm in the Tartar community centre. Small groups on request by phone ( +41 79 419 31 65), also outside opening hours.
