Buchwald nature reserve

The Buchwald nature education area is a species-rich gem, ideal for exploring animals, plants and mushrooms. Nature can be discovered in a playful way at various adventure stations, and the barefoot trail provides special sensory impressions.

The nature center offers training courses and a freely accessible exhibition.

Good to know:

• There is a barefoot trail and a water adventure trail

• Only partially accessible for baby carriages and wheelchairs

• Benches, covered shelters and toilets are available

• Groups must register and have priority for use of the fire pit

• Discover the nature reserve on a guided excursion

Opening Hours

The exhibition in the nature education area is freely accessible from mid-March to mid-October, Monday to Friday (including Sundays and public holidays) from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
