Bern Zoo

With around 200 different animal species in spacious and well-structured enclosures, the Dählhölzli - nestled in the Dählhölzli Forest and directly on the River Aare - offers an animal experience for young and old. The zoo is open 365 days a year, including Sundays and public holidays. Leopards, musk oxen, eagle owls, ground squirrels, monkeys and many more invite you to observe and discover. A special highlight are the Ursurian brown bears, which share the enclosure with the Bernese wolf pack.

Anyone who has always wanted to be there when the seals fill their bellies or the puffins hunt for fish on their fascinating "underwater flight" can experience this up close every day at Dählhölzli Zoo.
