Alpine cheese dairy Pragel Bödmeren

The Pragel Bödmeren area is an impressive natural and cultural landscape. The spruce forest is considered the largest "primeval forest" in Central Europe. The open pastures have been used for centuries. The farmers from Muotathal have shaped the cultural landscape of Pragel Bödmeren in family farms over generations. Dairy farming has always been of central importance.

The alpine cheese dairy Pragel Bödmeren was newly built in 2008 and on August 12, 2009 the first milk could be processed.
