Sconfinare Festival 2025 FILM SCREENING | SUNDAY 12 OCTOBER | 8:30 PM
Rome, November 2011. The story of a major property development, the Waterfront, which is set to transform the Roman coastline into a new Las Vegas. To achieve this, it will need the support of Filippo Malgradi, a corrupt politician deeply involved with the underworld, Numero 8, head of a powerful family that controls the territory, and, above all, Samurai, the most feared representative of Roman crime and the last member of the Banda della Magliana. But what will actually trigger an unstoppable domino effect capable of permanently jamming this mechanism will be characters who live on the margins of power games, such as Sebastiano, a slimy and unscrupulous PR man, Sabrina, an attractive escort, Viola, Number 8's drug-addicted girlfriend, and Manfredi, the head of a dangerous gypsy family.
