The world is burning and our air miles cards are glowing! Can we cool the earth down again by sticking to the motorway? Or do we really have to cycle to the Adriatic for our next holiday, or satisfy our wanderlust and thirst for discovery via Google Earth and TV documentaries? How do we deal with our concern about the collapsing planet? Who and what decides whether we practise renunciation in order to counter the impending climate catastrophe? Renouncing the achievements of individual freedom of travel is not in the nature of globalised humans.

Nina Wägli has an idea...

With my new play, I want to take a humorous approach to this highly topical issue, which is caught between total disregard and doomsday scenarios. Personally affected as a privileged Swiss citizen, a mother, a former flight attendant and a persistent flight addict, I am convinced that this problem can and must be tackled with revolutionary ideas and humour.
