Description

Within the protective eggshell, a tiny creature develops: a fluffy chick, a catshark, or even a platypus! The special exhibition «Allerlei rund ums Ei» («All about eggs») reveals which species lay eggs and what happens inside the shell. With a bit of luck, you can witness the miracle of hatching live in the incubator, and adult quails roam in their enclosures. Not all egg-layers have feathers, though observe the giant African land snails and large insects in their terrariums.
