Description

The king of the skies flies majestically over the open landscapes of the biosphere, nests in the cliffs of the Schrattenfluh and hunts its prey at lightning speed. Accompany an ornithologist and observe what the eagles are up to in their territory.

  • Requirements: walk involving gentle inclines suitable for everyone including families

  • Meeting point: 8.15 am at the Sörenberg tourist office

  • Duration: approx. 6-7 hours, including approx. 2.5 hours of walking (130 m elevation gain). End of excursion (Wagliseiboden, Sörenberg) at around 3 pm

  • Equipment: sturdy footwear, warm clothes, rain protection, binoculars if available, picnic (lunch)
